Dragon Training in the workplace
Dragon is playing an increasingly major role in the workplace and has been recognised as a major asset to improving productivity as well as being a time saving tool.
Application macros and keyboard shortcuts are often used to improve and increase workflow, however Dragon can be used to run macros and keyboard shortcuts by voice; which in turn makes it a valuable asset for professionals with low memory retention or those who have to perform tasks in a meticulous manner. In medical and law environments, standardised paragraphs of text are often used, Dragon can be used to generate paragraphs of text by simple voice commands and by so doing avoids potential human error.
At DragonSpeechTips (DST) we are completely aware of the capabilities Dragon has to offer and as such find ourselves in a great position to offer tailored Dragon training courses to both groups and individuals. We provide tuition on how to create your own voice commands to carry out tasks in the workplace and take into account all needs highlighted by our clients to ensure our training achieves their goals.
Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSA) and Access to work training.
Dragon is highly acknowledged as a valuable resource in the support of a wide range of disabilities and lifelong conditions. It can assist individuals with dyslexia and other Special Educational Needs (SEN) to help with spelling, composition and written expression. Dragon also serves as a valuable tool for individuals with physical disabilities, fatigue and muscular skeletal conditions such as Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) and Carpal Tunnel by allowing virtually full control of their computer using voice commands. Individuals with visual impairment and poor keyboard skills can equally benefit from using Dragon.
DST has worked extensively in the disabilities sector for over 15 years and as such we have worked with a vast range of students and professionals with various educational and disability needs.
